OJSC “RI PI” took part in the V International Conference  "Remote Sensing - the Synergy of High Technologies", organized by Sovzond Company (http://sovzondconference.ru/2011/rus) during the period from  April  13 through April 15.

Latest developments in the field of  GIS and the  remote sensing  were presented at the exhibition stand  of  the OJSC “RI PI”.  They arose great interest among conference participants  from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA and Ukraine. Intentions were declared upon possible joint cooperation on realization of projects.

At the plenary meeting the following participants  spoke:

-         The Head  of 45 Department (Information technology Department  for dissemination of remote sensing data) Tohijan Ovnan Olegovich with the report «United bank of the geodata and Roskosmos geoportal as elements of United Distributed Remote Sensing Data System»);

-         The Head  of 454 Department  Sector (Department for development of  software for decoding and processing  background and target information ) Krylov Alexander Valer’evich with the report “Application of NVIDIA graphic processors for the problems of photogrammetric processing of ERS results”.

The project  “United bank of the geodata and Roskosmos geoportal”, executed  in 2010,  was presented  at the contest “Best projects in GIS and remote sensing” (in the nomination “The unique technology development in the field of remote sensing and GIS”). The created products were entered into service at Research Center for Earth Operative Monitoring (NTs OMZ).

The victory noted by the Diploma and a memorable souvenir, was gained in uncompromising struggle against worthy rivals under the conditions of a rigid competition.
